It’s not you, it’s me. Actually… no, it IS you.

After years of client launches, late nights, and way too many browser tabs, I finally had to break up with my M3 MacBook Pro. Say hello to the new MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip.

Quick backstory: my husband and I are tech founders. We run a branding and automation studio, and we’re building BŪP, our AI networking assistant. My laptop runs AI agents, heavy video edits, code, and client work, often all at once. The old one just couldn’t keep up.

Apple says this one gets up to 22 hours of battery on the 14-inch (24 on the 16-inch), so I’m putting that to the test.
