My Six Product Face

Hey Chics!

We see a lot of beauty gurus with their makeup SLAYED for the gods! But how many products do they use!?

A LOT.

Now, I myself am quite guilty of using 10-15 products on my face to get the perfect look, so I decided to challenge myself by using only 5-6 products for this look. (Believe me. It was NOT easy using only 6 products).

Here are the products I used:

Of course, with only 6 products, the look was going to be very natural, so I had to plop in a bold lip!

First, I used my all time favorite drugstore foundation by Maybelline! It's perfect for my sensitive oily/combination skin, and does not break me out what-so-ever! I added a dab to my damp Beauty Blender (a little really goes a long way) and blended it in all over my face and neck. For full-coverage, I add just a little dab and go over my face again.

Next, I use my Anastasia DIPBROW Pomade in Granite. This is perfect if you want deep brows (or when you run out of your eyebrow pencil)! I try not to use a lot because the color is VERY dark, and can look crazy if done incorrectly. Overall, I really like this product!

On to the contour! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my L.A. Girl Pro Concealers!!!! They give me the best full-coverage, and are complete perfection for highlighting & contouring! The best part though is they are VERY cheap!! I highly recommend these concealers HANDS DOWN. I also use a Beauty Blender and Oval Brush to blend out the concealer!

Now, I go back to my eyes and use the Absolute New York Nano Liner. I got this liner by accident in one of my Amazon packages from a seller who was sending me products for reviewing, and I just fell in love with it! It's actually a great liner substitute for when I run out of my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner!

Next up is Buxom's NEW BIG Tease Plumping Mascara! I was one of the first bloggers to receive this product complimentary, and I didn't even know I had it until my parents (FINALLY) told me that it was mailed to their house! I could have been using this like a month or so ago...😩😩😩  But better late than never! I really love how the first and second coat goes on, but because my lashes are crazy (I have to straighten them by turning the curler upside down then re-curl them), I had to add additional coats, which made it clump a little. Nothing a clean mascara wand can fix! Overall, I really liked how my lashes turned out.

Lastly, I added the bold lip! Now, at one point, I was not one to wear bright colors on my lips, especially ORANGE!! As time went on and also working at Sephora, I was able to experiment and try new things. Come to find out, I don't look half bad in bright colors!😂😂  This color is called "Orange County" by NYX Cosmetics, and I am in LOVE with this color! I finished the makeup look with a few coats of this liquid lipstick, and I was ready to rock & roll!

The Finished Product

DRUMROLL...............................

TADA!!!!

TADA!!!!

I am very happy with how the final look turned out! I think this will be my Go-To look when I just want to keep it simple. It's not time consuming, and it's a versatile look for work and for going out! This is also a fun way to experiment with lipsticks - Just switch up the color!

What do you think about this look?

What are your 5-6 Products you can use for a full look?

Begin by using the acrylic pain and painting the wooden initial with even strokes until fully covered. Let dry for a few minutes, then repeat on the back side (Don't forget to paint the sides in & out)!!

SPRAY & SPRINKLE

Spray glue, then sprinkle the glitter evenly!

Once the paint has dried, begin spraying the glue in small sections and sprinkle the glitter evenly amongst the initial. Repeat on the back and the sides. This has to be the messiest process, so make sure to keep the glitter contained (and maybe wear gloves)!!
