As girls (and guys), we've gone through our fair share of hair brushes. They help with detangling, smoothening, and even massaging! But now we have a brush that claims to do what no other has: Anti-Static Hair Brushing!
For all of my hair-sticking-up friends out there, this is like a dream come true because we all know that if your hair acts like someone is constantly rubbing a balloon on it, the only way to SORT OF tame it is by using heat or going to the salon.
Honestly, my hair is so airborne and sticks up straight like a porcupine that heat actually makes it worse! Even New Jersey's best stylist has a hard time controlling after after pressing it with a flat iron (YIKES)!
Something has got to give. I came across this BMK Anti-Static Hairbrush on Amazon, and had to buy it IMMEDIATELY!
Now the real question is: "Does it really work?"
Here are some Before and After photos of my natural hair and my new custom wig (Without using any hair products):
Honestly, I felt like it did what any other hairbrush would do: Detangle your hair. I do like how lightweight it is even with batteries, and I also love how easy it is to detangle! Other than that, I don't this this is a one stop shop to all of your anti-static/frizz needs. Would it work well with products? Maybe. But I wanted to test this experiment solely by itself.
What are your thoughts on the Anti-Static Hairbrush? Have you/Would you try it? Let us know in the comments below!
